About

Casey is a husband and father of 2, residing in rural Central Illinois. Casey became interested in sport and fitness as a year round athlete growing up, playing football, basketball, and running track his entire youth. Casey was introduced to CrossFit by his high school athletic trainer, and while studying to become a strength and conditioning coach in college returned to training for functional fitness himself. This led him to pivot his plan and upon graduation with his Masters in Exercise Science, became a manager and head CrossFit coach at a large gym in Decatur, Illinois.

While coaching group fitness, he saw the opportunity and benefit for individualized coaching, leading him to begin individually coaching athletes and health-seekers alike. Casey has unique experience in the adaptive CrossFit, having won many of the largest stage adaptive competitions in the world and coaching some of the fittest adaptive CrossFit athletes on the scene. Casey’s coaching philosophies include using progression, creating cycles around an athletes competition season, focusing on foundational and structural support, and building a serious aerobic engine.
