Mitch played both football and baseball in college, earning all conference honors in both sports. While his undergraduate and graduate degrees were in mechanical engineering he always had a passion for fitness and training.
He was commissioned into the United States Air Force in 2013 and served for 8 years on active duty as a Propulsion Engineer, Mission manager and finally as an ROTC instructor. During his Air Force career he was always extremely involved in anything health and wellness related. He served as the physical training lead for all of his squadrons and held himself to the highest PT standards. Mitch started CrossFit in 2014 and began competing shortly after. He has competed at several Sanctionals as well as Semifinals. Along with CrossFit Mitch has also competed on the national level in Olympic weightlifting and holds the New Mexico State record in the Snatch.
